Thank you!
Thank you!
This past November I participated in the 30 Poems in November fundraiser for the Center for New Americans which collectively raised over $100,000 to help immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees in our community. Now the 2025 anthology is out, and it is beautiful! Here's my contribution.
A belated update from September... my poem in Silkworm Issue 18: Cycle! Much love to the Florence Poets Society, as always.
The new issue of Wordpeace is up, and I'm proud to say that my poem 'Reconnecting' appears therein!

Found some color joy in the flowerbed of a local market. Yay spring!
The latest episode of the Meat for Teacast poetry podcast (s6 ep14) is a recording of the Florence Poets Society going away party for our co-founder, Tommy Twilite. Have you been dying to hear me read a poem? I'm on around 1:23.
My poem "Fallow" debuts today at Stone Circle Review! Honored at the chance to have a piece appear in such a well-curated publication. @stonecirclereview.bsky.social

Got my copy of the anthology for 30 Poems in November 2024 from the kind folks at Center for New Americans. It's gorgeous! And I'm still happy with my poem.
Submissions are now open for the Florence Poets Society's Silkworm Issue 18: Cycle! Members and non-members are encouraged to submit! No fee, open until March 15th. Looking forward to reading your poems! www.florencepoets.com/p/silkworm.h...
I've heard some people who want to write a longer format will post on their personal blog, and then link to it from here.
I try to get cozy, and find quiet. Outdoors is good if the weather allows!
Check out my poem *lullaby for water* out now in the latest issue of FERAL! feralpoetry.net/lullaby-for-...
I had a great time being part of the 30 Poems in November fundraiser for the Center for New Americans this year, and participating in their December reading. Now we wait for the anthology to come back from the printers! ππ
Issue 17 of Silkworm, the journal of the Florence Poets Society, came out in November. I was delighted that my poem "Bluejay Girls" found a home. (Also it was great fun to read it at the book launch party.)
Thrilled to have 2 poems of mine, "Expectations" and "ex/change" published in the Halloween issue (issue 6) of The Cackling Kettle this year.
