They get mad when people on SNAP want to buy soda
They get mad when people on SNAP want to buy soda
Our government keeps telling us America can't afford universal health care or expanding Medicare for ALL. There's a reason for that.🗽
“.. Here's a fun fact: The United States now has fewer manufacturing jobs today (12.573M) than it did in March 2018 (12.576M) when Trump first started his tariff wars:”

Just a reminder that Muslims have been on this continent since the first arrival of non-Indigenous people. They were among the first generation of Americans, and have been here ever since.
US Employers Unexpectedly Cut Jobs, Unemployment Rises February data call labor market stabilization narrative into question
Congrats to everyone who voted for Trump and a Republican Congress "for the economy." This is what you get, a sputtering job creation engine that can't make progress like before and keeps rolling backwards.

High gas prices, war in the middle east, unpopular president, soaring unemployment. Welcome back second term Bush administration.

I think it's super that the GOP has dispatched its dullest and dimmest senators, like Mullin and Tuberville, to make the unintelligible case for an unpopular unplanned war. Go get 'em, boys.
😕🤷🏼
Trump spent a lot of time talking about how he wanted to give the Medal of Honor to himself but his advisers told him that would be "bad protocol."
Doing this at a ceremony to honor actual war heroes a day after 4 servicemembers were killed in his insane war.
-Zero Congressional consultation or approval.
-Zero preparation of public for need/consequences of war.
-Zero evidence of thought about "OK, what might the other side do?" Next month. Next year.
-Zero mention of anti-nuke agreement Trump voided, or Trump claim last year that nukes "obliterated."
Inflation is up to 3.6% year over year. This means it's up since Trump took over, and higher than where Biden held it dating back to June 2023. Trump's promise to immediately lower prices has completely failed, yet he insists it's all fixed.
Something about this murder--that's what it is--feels to me even more awful than the executions we've witnessed. This lacks even the ugly humanity of sadism & rage on display in those murders. This is a kind of absolute indifference to, a disinterest in even perceiving, the realness of another.
The following large outlets are now state media (like Fox) snatched up by far right billionaires:
- CBS
- The Washington Post
- Twitter
Soon:
- CNN
- HBO
The information landscape was worst-ever in 2024 and is getting worse.
There's nothing "uncertain" about it. Larry Ellison is building an autocrat-friendly propaganda machine and whatever shaky journalism originated from this place will soon be dead.
The Ayatollah dumbass is talking about died in 1989. bsky.app/profile/acyn...
This is to remind people that Trump lied when he told us this billion dollar operation “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program when in fact we just learned (from Trump’s Iran envoy!) it did nothing and Iran is now a week away from having a bomb.
Watergate is an overused benchmark, but it's the one most Americans are familiar with.
That scandal involved a president trying to cover up a crime that was basically breaking and entering by his subordinates, a misdemeanor in most places.
This one, meanwhile ...
damn, Trump's surgeon general nominee Casey Means is a transparent bullshitter even by the standards of the regime. Watch how she's tries to blame Chris Murphy's staffers for the fact he has her dead to rights on being dishonest and corrupt.
Their player development since Brad moved upstairs is insane. It’s also made me more attentive at Maine games, trying to figure out what they see in certain players.
Rep. Massie: “I've not seen any arrests from the revelations in the Epstein files…Over two dozen people have resigned, CEOs, members of government worldwide. But I haven't seen any arrests or investigations here in the United States from this DOJ.”
Rubin: "There is at least one witness for whom 3 interviews with the FBI in in 2019 are missing [from the Epstein files]. What's the big deal? We can also confirm she is the same person who in a 2025 FBI presentation is identified as accusing Trump of a sexual assault when she was between 13 and 15"
This the 338 page special counsel report on classified documents found at Joe Biden’s home. Legally, there is no good reason to withhold the one about Trump. www.justice.gov/storage/repo...
Twelve years stolen from Medicare’s future.
Money collected from workers, promised to the elderly.
Reassigned to those who already have too much.
trump's wealthy donor tax cuts are literally killing us.
The hunger at the top is never satisfied, it only asks who will be trimmed next.

Nothing suspicious about the president's lackeys illegally removing accusations of sexual abuse against the president from the files of the president's best friend, the pedophile sex abuser.
It’s a great day to ask why Howard Lutnick lied about visiting Epstein Island and still has a job, paid for by your tax dollars.
