What would, in your opinion, be a good book to read about the whole Watergate affair? I remember hearing about it on the news when I was a youngster, and I’d like to get an adult perspective on it now. I’ll probably understand it better at this age.

I don’t know what it is about that saying, but I just get such a tickle out of it. It probably is some sort of gaming terminology, and I’m no gamer, but it just sounds funny to me.

The last time we had a gopher come into our yard, was the last time for him too. (R.I.P. gopher.). I’ve always admired other people’s gardens, but never felt the urge to create one myself. My mom kept up a nice English cottage garden at her home, but it took a lot of work as I recall (not me!).

Ah, to have one’s very own tailor or seamstress who could adapt dresses to fit oneself better. Yet another reason to welcome immigrants, especially those with tailoring skills. Or do I sound selfish?

Those are weeds? I figure if it’s green and growing without much attention from me, it deserves to live. When summer brings drought conditions, it’s the weeds that keep my lawn looking green, and I’m thankful for it.

I’m learning to interpret Diego’s fussy whinings. It’s sometimes because he feels hungry and needs to eat something. Other times it’s because he’d like to take a nap on the bed, but that evil minion of Satan is hogging the whole spread. Other times, he needs to go out to pee, or poop. Poor baby!

Yanno, I had some today, but my heart just wasn’t in it. Either my anxiety is lowered now that Diggs is getting better and I don’t need so much slatherings of Cherry Bordeaux ice cream, but I was just ‘meh’ about it. Weird (for me).

Have you had anything to eat?

I find I tend to make my decisions at an instinctual level. So if I come to that point, or can’t bring myself to that point, there’s a sound reason for it, whether I can verbally explain it or not. Those are the choices that I rarely regret.
