It really was cool! My friend's mom, Collins's sister, came to collect for the March of Dimes a few days before the takeoff. Mom asked if she was excited for the flight, and she said "I can't even think about it โ I'm scared to death for them".

The nephew of the command module pilot on Apollo 11, Michael Collins, was a neighbor/friend and in my third grade class. He brought all kinds of NASA memorabilia to show and tell after that flight! #AT40
There's something about this Stylistics song that just makes me very happy ๐ #AT40
Wynonna also covered it in 2009
Reba McIntyre covered it in 1979
Poetry Man gives me all the feels. And Phoebe Snow's vocal performance on this song is everything #AT40
Currently treating my neighbors to this fine Bad Co. song...๐ #AT40
Enjoyed hanging out with all of you today, as always! Hope everybody has a wonderful week, and I look forward to seeing you back here next Saturday. And special thanks to Jezza for leading us- you're the best! #AT40
Ahh-my friends on the third floor of Dorchester Hall, U of MD, and I dancing to EWF's September...๐โค๏ธ #AT40
I guess it's a good way to pass the time when you're cooped up on a ship!
LRB Lady takes me back to sailing on the Potomac River in the DC โ old town Alexandria area with my BF at the time- a Navy F 14 fighter pilot. He loved listening to me sing to the radio. I loved listening to him tell stories about life on an aircraft carrier. #AT40
Same ๐
And, as with most Classics IV songs, I prefer the original- except the cover of Spooky by ARS (which had 2 members of Classics IV) #AT40
Great pic! So pretty ๐
Jezza โ thanks as always for your outstanding service to this group! Have a great week everybody โ see you back here next Saturday! #AT40

I was only 12 when Do It Again was on the charts, but I knew then that Steely Dan was a great band. Casey- why the hatchet job on this song???๐คฌ #AT40
The Spinners song, that is #AT40
Shout out to my 7th grade bus driver, Mr. Brown, bus 507 to and from North Bethesda junior high. I loved this song and he turned it up way up loud every time it came on the radio! #AT40
Feb 1973 was a trying time for me- recovering from surgery to remove xtra bones in my feet. But I was a minor celeb in the hospital when I got a pkg from the White House (cousin worked for Nixon- the "other" side of the family ๐) These songs are bringing all those memories back today #AT40
I was mesmerized byYear of the Cat from the moment I first heard it... took on added significance when my HS won the county class A championships in soccer in basketball in 1977 (we were the Woodward Wildcats). #AT40
Marilyn & Billy...pure bliss โค๏ธ #AT40
Might just have been an off night for them. When their first single came out, I couldn't believe it was the same band I had heard!
They did indeed!
I saw Kansas open for Bad Company in April 1976. They were horrible. I was only 16 and I knew they were horrible #AT40
Mine too!!
No I don't- I'll start though! The local forecasts have been all over the place this week
I like your version MUCH better!!
I Go Crazy gets to me every time I hear it...brings back the ghosts of past relationships. Haunting and beautiful #AT40
