An elegant Grey Heron taking off on the water of a park lake in the Dublin suburbs around the corner from our house. The water is lit with the bright morning light fading into a yellowish blur.
For Alan's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #WingsOverWater I remembered I had this heron taking off on the water. I guess it also works for #FlyDay.

Das Foto zeigt eine Nahaufnahme von Puschkinien (auch Kegelblumen genannt), die sich im hellen Sonnenlicht präsentieren. Im Fokus steht eine einzelne Blüte mit sechs spitzen, weiß-bläulichen Blütenblättern, die von einem charakteristischen, pastellblauen Streifen in der Mitte gezeichnet sind. Das Herz der Blüte offenbart zierliche Staubgefäße. Der Hintergrund ist in ein weiches, warmes Bokeh getaucht, wobei weitere Blüten und sattgrüne Blätter in der Unschärfe verschwimmen. Eine leichte Vignettierung lenkt den Blick direkt auf das Zentrum der strahlenden Pflanze, während das natürliche Licht die Struktur der Blüten fast transparent erscheinen lässt.
