Even if unconventional extraction turns out to be some cornucopia that moves peak oil several generations out from now, that doesn't fix anthropegenic global warming either, or limit its impacts. Also the unconventional methods are unconventional because they are pricier.

I guess this reveals "we'll just attack everyone we can with bombardment and proxies" has some holes as a deterrence strategy. You can't reach the US, and you're already attacking Israel with proxies and bombardment. Now you can't deter either.

Eh I think that would require an injunction from a judge. Although it would depend on how things specifically work in Kansas.

Also if the legislature is able to override the veto there's no Mike Johnson equivalent to provide impunity to a lawless governor.

Did the law require this notice be sent out or is this a subtle bit of resistance by government workers? I imagine this advance notice pre-empts a lot of the roughing up of minorities that the legislators were hoping would happen.
