the cake made with the candied hazelnuts, a simple 3 layer sponge cake with blackberry jam between each layer crushed up candied hazelnuts are peppered on top of the cake

it is FAR too easy to make candied hazelnuts, it may become a recurrent motif in upcoming baking………
