Thrilling, brutal, and most of all, blockbuster. ‘Gladiator II’ is a legendary feast for enjoyment and a sequel worth revisiting. (4/4)

thrilling ride constantly presented throughout. The cast performs brilliantly and Pedro Pascal adds some needed composure. With enough political investment to be had in its script and gorgeous visual effects, the film is an engaging watch from beginning to end. (3/4)

Fred Hechinger also adds a chaotically-pure performance in his role as Emperor Caracalla and has a strong contribution to the moments of levity. While there are issues to be had when it comes to the editing and pacing of the film, it wasn’t enough to pull me out of the (2/4)

#GladiatorII is a grand tale of epic proportions bolstered by a fitting cast and action set pieces that feel vast in scale. Paul Mescal is a stoic lead well-worth rooting for and Denzel Washington makes his presence felt 10 times over in his supporting role. (1/4)
