When you continually de-emphasize the need for a good well rounded education, well . . . Hate far too often triumphs

Holocaust denial among young republicans. 77% hisanic gop, 66% black gop, and 30% white gop.
Truly sobering
I really need to stop going through oβhare for flights. This time weβve landed, but cannot seem to be able to dock.
An exploratory military force
Oh I love this movie! Until the final couple of scenes where it feels a touch dragged out. Still really enjoy it though. special shout out to lake bell for imbuing humanity to her part
Well that's what I mean. Humor with bite is what is needed, and Randy Rainbow bites with all the intensity of a playful kitten. We need to unleash the piranhas.
At a certain point, we have to acknowledge the situation has gotten too serious.
This generation of men is such a disgrace
Archer is the George Bush era Captain. That pretty neatly encapsulates my aversion to him.
And even Voyager had two medical assistants in Kes and Paris!
Iβve said it before, but to elevate your outfit, you need to invest in texture. Solid suits and solid ties are nice, but just a little in the way of partterns heightens things
#TheBestYearsofOurLives #TCMParty Both Best Years and It's a Wonderful life came out 80 years ago, and both are timeless. Why? Because both offer a reminder that if we can simply treat our fellow human as a fellow human, we will be richer than any billionaire. Simple sentiments one shouldn't forget
#TheBestYearsofOurLives #TCMParty Of course the beating heart of the film is Homer Parish. A non actor who brings so much warmth and pathos to his role. What is great is we see multiple dimensions of him. His disability is part of his character, but not the only thing that defines him.
There's so many great contenders, but those are definitely worthy names. I adore Cukor as well when I think of "studio" directors who were brilliant.

An element that makes The Best Years of Our Lives so damn good is what often makes Classical Hollywood so damn good, a willingness to allow there to be small moments. We don't need to characters dashing about, we need to see them live. That's how affection grows.

The Best Years of Our Lives is a reminder that William Wyler should be a household name, but for whatever reason he isn't which is a tremendous shame. Watch a film of his, and you will be present to a truly raw level of humanity, and this film is the crown jewel
#TCMParty The Best Years of our Lives remains one of the greatest films ever because so many films are about THE EVENT. Here is a rare film that asks "what happens next?" And that is truly poignant.
Something to think about.
I see a lot of grief about a trek show not being in current development, but honestly I think it's good for franchises to go on breaks, get their creative batteries charged, and then come roaring back.
A character who deserved more far FAR more development? Commedore Oh.
Itβs an episode where I just found the ending too mean spirited. All die? Ok. But I think it would have been nice if the time capsule had survived
Random thought: instead of dragging Kamala Harris into another round of whataboutism, how about instead we just acknowledge she would have made a better president, and then ACTUALLY focus on the NUMEROUS problems that plague our present?
Got my first round of anonymous feedback for the semester. Was called a "dictionary" for the first time. Crossing another item of my teacher bucket list.
A far too pervasive problem is people being afraid to show that they feel empathy, and so instead choose active or glib cruelty.
How about my glamour collection?or my Trek collection.
Darn! Seems as if they recently changed it back to buy only. Sorry about that.
sidenote, but damn does hollywood need to use michael fassbender more and better
More than 100 children reportedly killed in school bombing
I went to ABC, CBS, and NBC homepages. Not a single one had this story on their main headlines. Just disgusting. My thoughts are with the Iranian families.
