That feeling when you're plotting the last days of an antagonist's life and you end up feeling sorry for the tragic way they go.
I had to consciously remind myself: "listen, he physically hurt your protagonist and psychologically tormented her partner. Don't feel bad!!"

Unpopular opinion: I don't like Noibat &Noivern. The news that they will join #PokemonSleep are profoundly disappointing.
Golbat and Crobat are my favorite Pokémon of all time and now that the lesser bats will be in the game, I fear my hopes of having those two ever included are dashed. 😭

Thank you!! The entire document is at 483.446 words (roughly 610+ pages) and I write about 2000-4000 words per day. (Mind you, a lot of the document is concepts and world building too, so not just story).

Last night I finished writing a scene where my protagonist's boyfriend broke down crying and it wrecked me in such a beautiful way. To have a strong, usually composed ex-assassin cry in front of her was just so... Raw. Honest. And utterly necessary for his character development.

There is something oddly fun and fascinating about writing a purely, evil and sadistic antagonist. As much as I enjoy subtlety & layered characters in my works, I'm just having such a great time right now, writing a confrontation between one of my main characters & his former Mafia "brother".

Spent the entire evening watching Oblivion live streams and it made me remember how much I miss the good old days, when I wasted hours walking along rivers in-game, collecting Nirnroot.
I don't miss the motion sickness tho. That was why I quit playing.

Finally all caught up with Okami inkvent! This ink is so beautiful, it might be my fave so far. With the shimmer and slight violet tint it feels very elegant, so I think it fits Otohime
