One thing I really think people underestimate in regards to ADHD are the memory problems. I am constantly looking for things I KNOW I put in a specific place that just aren't there anymore. It honestly really fucks with my sense of reality....

In Chinese, that's a normal saying - 'These people aren't even human' - that's an idiom.
In English, in an American setting, this is REALLY weird and awful and instantly made the characters who say it extremely unsympathetic
There is a western version of 'Sisters final testament' that turns the poor rural family into a rich secret service family and just sci-fis the whole thing up the wazoo, but one thing that was so weird in the one part I watched was that they kept saying 'she is not even human' about the older sister
It's so weird that there are western mini dramas popping up now that are just 1:1 copies of Chinese mini dramas, because they use nearly identical dialogue, but they often just don't do cultural adjustments :')
I'm really sorry, I generally try not to make fun of weird American names
But I simply can't read a gay dark romance novel if one of the MCs is called "Sauce"
So... this is about 300 hours... @wtyppod.bsky.social
(In related news I just read in a comment about cats "in nature, where they belong" and I just barely didn't start a fight)
I got a cool new reward jar but I didn't know what I'm going to reward myself for
But now I'm thinking I'll use it for every day I managed not to look at the comments on things
I think that might be good for my mental health.
(Basically, I made the mistake to let her into my living space... There were extenuating circumstances, but I REALLY should have known better... I'll better not talk to her for the next week or so π¬)
I love her, she was never abusive or anything, but there are just some topics with.... not necessarily explosive potential, but more corrosion potential, where she says something and it eats through me like hydrofluoric acid
Therapy is kinda funny, because some weeks you have no topic to talk about and you feel like you're wasting your money and the therapist's time....
And then other weeks you just spent a bit too much time with your mom π«
House cats literally evolved to be inside (a barn, a stable, a pantry), and now people act like it's natural for them to be outside all day, with no barns or storehouses or stables anywhere where they could get what they approached humans for in the first place (shelter and easy access to food)

Two Dads
Based on the "holy shit two cakes!" meme lol

People here are so focused on "cats need their freedom" that they completely forget that CATS ARE DESERT ANIMALS.... and the cats around here generally don't get cat doors, either, they have to hang around outside until their owners let them back in...
Somebody in my neighborhood is letting their LONG HAIR CAT free-roam at 0 degree...... that poor thing's fur is completely wet...
to posit the theory that we were able to domesticated horses and communicate with them so effectively bc of that innate curiosity)
(I used deer - extremely reactive, tiny, able to live off basically nothing - as a comparison point to horses - pretty big, need quite a lot of food even as wild horses, actually quite curious and playful -
I need to get off tiktok again, somebody is trying to tell me we have domesticated deer
If Woody Allen dies from infection in exile while fleeing a prison sentence, I feel it might be ok to watch his stuff again π€£
It honestly also sounds like this person only JUST heard about Caravaggio π€£
www.stern.de/kultur/carav... here's the article btw... so fucking stupid
Woody Allen is credibly accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old, and all he gets is what, a bad rep?
Also, in contrast to all the people this author is talking about, Caravaggio actually experienced consequences (likely because his victims were men). He was excluded from associations, spent time in prisons, fled his home...
He was literally the second artist I ever really loved (the first one was Botticelli, don't judge me, I was 13 and basic) and people have been crazy about his work as long as I can remember, and I started being interested in #renaissance art in like, 2000....
And the article acts like this is something new, like people only NOW start to like Caravaggio's work???
I mean, yeah, #Caravaggio did commit a lot of violent crimes, but he didn't systematically abuse children and young women.......
I just read this article that basically says you can't like Caravaggio's work for the same reasons you shouldn't like P.Diddy's, Michael Jackson's, Woody Allen's or Roman Polantski's work
They're an integral part of the summary π
