6pm Midsomer Murders. A dominoes player is found dead. 8pm Midsomer Murders. A body is found in a river. 10pm Vera. A teenage boy is found dead in a shipyard. 11.50pm A Touch of Frost. A man is found dead at a recycling plant. 1.50am On The Buses.
Jolly telly on ITV3 tonight. At least no-one dies in On The Buses (probably). 'I'll get you Butler - with my high-powered rifle.'

The Pembroke in Belgravia, a soon-to-open private members' club catering to London's " super wealthy", has taken out a half-page advertisement in Country Life for a "butter sommelier". It explains that the recruit - who must have a "deep love for, and understanding of, butter" - will "curate our butter assortment", and help train staff to use our "silver butter trolley".

Someone's left a Yorkshire Brass Band Championships programme in the Rat & Ratchet pub. Heard of the top 6 bands in the Champ section but didn't realise there were so many bands. Hebden Bridge - who knew? Seems to be a West/South Yorks thing. North Yorks is clarinet country.
