6pm Midsomer Murders. A dominoes player is found dead. 8pm Midsomer Murders. A body is found in a river. 10pm Vera. A teenage boy is found dead in a shipyard. 11.50pm A Touch of Frost. A man is found dead at a recycling plant. 1.50am On The Buses.
Jolly telly on ITV3 tonight. At least no-one dies in On The Buses (probably). 'I'll get you Butler - with my high-powered rifle.'
This tickled me (posted by Rhoda Bracewell on the other place)

VALENCIA March 12, 2026 Tonight's scheduled show in Valencia has been rendered impossible due to sleep deprivation. Morrisseu drove from Milan to Valencia but has been unable to rest in Valencia due to noise. The show is not cancelled. Circumstances render the show impossible.
Iβll be using this new Morrissey excuse at some point:
βIβm not not turning up for my shift. Circumstances have rendered my attendance impossibleβ¦β
Old Β£20 note featuring Thora Hird in a hat. Edie Pegden signature.
Can anyone change a Thora?
The Pembroke in Belgravia, a soon-to-open private members' club catering to London's " super wealthy", has taken out a half-page advertisement in Country Life for a "butter sommelier". It explains that the recruit - who must have a "deep love for, and understanding of, butter" - will "curate our butter assortment", and help train staff to use our "silver butter trolley".

Is anyone on Great British Menu going to explain what jaggery ice cream is? (When the Whippy Comes Down).
Gertrude Lawrence and Ronald Squire sup Whitbread's before tucking into grapes and sausages on sticks. Looks like the DJ at the wedding buffet has paused his Flanagan & Allen bangers so people can tuck into the buffet. (Poster in Victoria, Leeds).
The pub is playing Venus in Furs. The Victoria seems a world away from shiny boots of leather, more portly men in cardigans.
Chandelier, big mirror, Tetley's Ales poster.
Reopened Victoria, Leeds, back to its best. Top ales, sausage rolls and chandeliers.
Ha-ha! Yes!
Manchester is skyscrapered up but The Venue is still going. Had a couple of big birthday do's there.
MEN headline: Who is Howard? Confusion over graffiti artist who has 'gone completely over the top' Subhead: The mystery has rumbled on for weeks. (Coun Pat Karney is fuming over Howard's many tags).
'Who is Howard?' I don't think it's my Morley mate Howard.
'Albert' and 'Howard' graffiti on the walls approaching Manchester Victoria. Pleasing.
Brilliant!
'Distressed' leather jacket Β£349 (Observer). I'm distressed at that price - it's a grubby jacket.
Is that a rabbit in your top hat Mr Daniels?

ECCLES CAKES!
Wishbone-shaped branch covered in moss.
Mossy March. Never seen so much moss.
'I've been to paradise but I've never been to Leeds' #onehitwonders
Ralph McTell has the look of a roughhouse 70s footballer - mutton chops, big hooter, bouffant #onehitwonders
Guardian headline: 'Waste not... Limp herbs Tom Hunt'
(Alan Bennett voice) Limp herbs.
The thinness.
You in another decade (70s). The Vomit Band (punk/'eavy arguments) fail to impress Jane. Me on vocals and tight keks. Blodwen the dog (folk fan) disgusted. Dangerous Morris Minor in the background (went full throttle on the M6).
Fab place.
Someone's left a Yorkshire Brass Band Championships programme in the Rat & Ratchet pub. Heard of the top 6 bands in the Champ section but didn't realise there were so many bands. Hebden Bridge - who knew? Seems to be a West/South Yorks thing. North Yorks is clarinet country.
