There could be an extra jape there if there wasn't actually a gap in the wall, and the gate was just screwed to the front of the bricks.

Not even the Nazis expressly announced they were committing war crimes. Indeed, at Nuremberg war crimes were denied.
But here, openly, the US Secretary for Defense is explicitly admitting to committing war crimes.
"President Trump holds the cards."
It absolutely is. I still fondly remember your "truckers hour" feature

An archaeological trench showing various gullys and ditches. Some of these contain runs of short orange ceramic water pipes that fit together not unlike lego to create continuous lengths of pipe.
We're sure all you can think about today is that it's World Plumbing Day. 👨🔧💦
So here's the Palace plumbing - ceramic pipes that carried water around the formal gardens and fed fountains and ornamental basins and the like.

I had a ZX Microdrive, absolutely amazed that it worked at all. But I found it mostly reliable, AND it was faster at loading than my Atari 130XE from a 1050 disk drive. The data transfer speed was quicker on a Microdrive (admittedly the seek time could be a bit slower...)
This is how I access bluesky

“Excuse me. Do you sell barrels?”

Just heard an ad on the radio for an app or website or something, called "don't sit on it". It's about selling old junk. Perhaps Ally could do ad reads for them?

A letter from out of off of the new issue of Viz, accompanied by two (count 'em) pictures of the latest issue. At jaunty angles. And here is the letter. A-hem... "When he got his £80 million recording contract back in 2002, Robbie Williams famously shouted "I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams". I don't know what his 'wildest dreams' entailed, but I'm surprised they involved selling catfood a quarter of a century down the line. Mike Tatham, Dundee'
There's a new issue (Viz 354) in the shops. Sorry no refunds. shop.viz.co.uk/viz354bs
Opening panels of Drakes On A Plane, a comic strip featuring Sir Francis Drake, Charlie Drake and Nick Drake. On a plane.
The world is in a perilous state. But there's a new issue of Viz on sale today, and while that may not particularly alleviate geopolitical tensions, at least it probably won't make them very much worse
Sun headline about £500k compensation for migrants, discussing human rights, and public outcry over payouts.
Did you see this headline?
Did you feel the requisite anger and rage at asylum seekers that The Sun was asking of you?
Did you maybe blame Starmer because.... um... it was probably his fault🤷♀️
Would you like to know the reality behind the headline?
Course you would!😜
Let's take a look

I had a 2nd hand one of these, had a roundabout in the middle. It works in a cunning way, there's a very long continuous spring in the track that's pulled along by a motor and the cars are attached into that with a removable plastic pin stuck underneath.
Yes, it's yet another "magic free energy" machine, and like all the others, it's 100% a scam — yet it's been around for 15 years and has actual paying customers. This week on Skeptoid, the Rossi E-Cat: skep.us/1030
