They released a snail recently so that's sort of a step in the right direction tho it's actually just a cat dressed as a snail, which suggests they're probably not really ready to fully embrace anything more radical than that in a meaningful & authentic way. A worm playing a vibraphone wld be great.
I think it's a good idea but also it could be like Sylvanian horses where they weren't originally anthromorphised, ie. instead of worms in clothes it could be big worms that the other animals can ride on. Then after a backlash they could release the worms normal-sized and in clothes.
In fairness, the video's message (and its continued relevance) is bleak, so at least that's on trend for 2026.

It's taken me nearly a fortnight to solve the conundrum of the lfo in Mariana syncing to a different clock if i played the midi in from my Polyend tracker or instead tried to record or play it back in my daw. Just needed to turn off the sync button & precision tweak manually.
i'm fed up of all the different apps, gonna start just walking to the dog park and scratching my thoughts and recommendations into the dirt with a stick

stick around for joy is my fave sugarcubes album. as someone who was buying all her earlier singles as they came out, a lot of my favourites are remixes rather than album versions, or b-sides, she worked with so many electronic musicians i loved.
honestly, i'd just suggest listening to them all in order. homogenic is my fave earlier album, utopia fave later one, but they're all good (the drawing restraint soundtrack is only one i didn't click with). vespertine is another popular one, & dancer in the dark ost is great
