The boy is off school sick for the first time in almost 2 years. Some plans for later have been cancelled, and I'm feeling stuffy after a long day at a work event yesterday.

Louis called the subjects out more than he usually does but maybe not hard enough. At times it's like watching him talk to 5 year olds, which made me wonder if he should've even bothered. Misogyny epidemic is real, but I'm not sure how much this helped. Some dynamite clown moments though.

The moment Pokemon Pokopia spoke to my soul and went from being just a video game to a truly important piece of societal text.

Every moment was a joy!

Since a debilitating back issue flared up last summer, my exercising took a real hit. Had to cut back on the gym, so to balance it out I ramped up daily steps and have been consistently hitting 10k-14k per day. Gym is now back in routine, and my step goal is to hit 100k per week. Getting close! 💪

Finished the brilliant and beautiful Planet of Lana II last night.

Imagine a channel putting the biggest spoiler of Requiem front and centre in one of their awful generative AI thumbnails just four days after the release.

I'd say they ought to be fucking embarrassed, but they've got a long list of reasons for that already.

I'm finding those pesky raccoons on a 2nd run. Some of their locations make me laugh 🤣

Trauma absolutely comes into it (i.e., the stammer), though there's also moments (inc dialogue) in the hotel room flashback before Alyssa cops it which very clearly say a few things about who Grace is. It feels deliberate, and if not, then it's just come naturally - which is good. Watch the scene! 😃

Maybe the most surprising thing to come out of Requiem for me is that Grace Ashcroft is one of the best representations of a neurodivergent person I've seen in media for a while. It's never mentioned, but it's explicitly and subtly exhibited through her performance. Big fan.
