Empire Records was one of our sleepover staples in the 90s. Must have seen it 20+ times. I still don't properly know who Rex Manning is
Reminded me of when I was on Hinge and I matched with a man whose bio said 'Obama in the streets, Osama in the sheets'
I swiftly unmatched him but not before that sentence was burned into my brain for the rest of my life

Check out the final episode of this series of The Skewer, in which I imagined what it would be like if Catherine O'Hara's Moira Rose visited Gorton and Denton ahead of the by election

I am really loving your Who posts, they were my dad's fave band and every time I see your references I'm reminded of him in a nice way. And also I learn about the Who! Win win

Someone once described their friend (a white man who writes screenplays) as 'the real victim of Me Too' because he hadn't been able to sell his latest script
I think the sparrows does? It's pricy though!
The good old fashioned 'that can't be classed as rape otherwise *I* would have done rapes!' defence
It feels more and more challenging to maintain the self delusion that men are ok to be around in the face of so much evidence that they clearly are not
I interviewed someone who said on their application their interest was 'lyres' and before they joined the call I said to my co worker 'we must ask them about the lyres' and when they joined the whole wall behind them was a bunch of lyres. We gave them the job and they were epic. Niche interests rock
