Great first issue, and I think this is the first appearance of Peggy Moonstar (Dani’s mom) since almost 40 years ago, in 1986 (The New Mutants #41, first series).
Her parents never died. Dani rescued them from the Demon Bear. They have only appeared sporadically since then.
They both appeared in New Mutants #41 (first series), and Dani’s father later appeared in an issue of X-Force (first series). This is the first time we’ve see Dani’s mom since 1986(!).
Bless the streaming service Screambox for offering 1976 fauxumentary In Search of Bigfoot.
As science and fact, it’s nonsense. But, goodness, this movie is a time capsule for seeing how everyday people dressed and talked in the Bicentennial year.
