the wedding didnt go through as she was abandond at the alter but she didnt care too much and later re-purposed her wedding for the grand fest

so she started DJ-ing getting a little attention from some people and started working her way up in popularity
she never did really get recognised by Pearl in any meaningful way but pearl did like one of her posts on SplatNet and that was enough for her

this all made her realise her love of music

that was untill a strange girl Yuki had never seen before started hanging out with Pearl.

she heard in an interview that Pearl liked the music marina made and this made Yuki realise if Marina can reach Pearl with her music, maybe she can too

no actualy! Olive was born in Splatsville and Yuki was (quite literally) a street urchin near Inkopolis Square
while never truely knowing her, Yuki did get to see the growth of one Pearl Houzuki
she admired and was jealous of her and didnt belive she could
