#67 Frank Rigney is 'officially' credited with playing 15 games in 1959. The game he 'missed' was the August 17, 1959 game in Calgary. The Winnipeg Free Press showed a picture of Rigney in the sports section and the article talks about how Rigney moved to Offensive End after Frank Gilliam was injured. The 'game played' error is the result of 'research' based on the roster published in newspapers. Based on article published in the same newspapers and backed up by video, there are numerous errors in the published roster for the Blue & Gold for that game.
#67 Frank Rigney in the 1961 Grey Cup. The lightning bolt was the first helmet logo used by the Blue Bombers but only lasted for one season.
Frank Rigney anchored the LT position for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for 10 seasons (1958-1967)

Glenn January celebrates his only CFL TD, scored September 24, 2011 when he recovered a Carl Volny fumble 10 yards deep in the Argos’ end zone
All attempts to properly score this resulted in the TD being awarded to Volny and then the stats system would crash!

#70 Jeff Boyd returned to the Blue Bombers midway through the 1986 season. He joined a receiving corps that included three 1000 yard receivers (Murphy, Tuttle & Poplawski). Boyd accumulated 619 yards in just 7 games that year.
#70 Mike Holmes was a favourite target of Dieter Brock 1977-1982. Unfortunately a serious injury limited his 1981 season to a few plays and he was never 100% when he returned in 1982.
Back in the days when your star receivers wore numbers in the 70s
Jeff Boyd & Mike Holmes both both ran routes from the WR position.

Farrell Funston wore #10 in the Fog Bowl. Hamilton had an OT wear an eligible number which allowed them to run a tackle eligible play by shifting players around. When the CFL chose to permit this, the Blue Bombers chose to fight fire with fire by doing the same with OT Frank Rigney. Neither team used the tackle eligible play in the game.
Farrell Funston wore #71 for all but one game as a Blue Bomber. In the 1962 Grey Cup, Funston wore #10 while OT Frank Rigney wore Funston's #71.

#71 Farrell Funston celebrates a win in the 1961 Grey Cup Funston became a Canadian citizen on July 21, 1965 allowing him to qualify as a Naturalized Canadian. The CFL ended the program a day or two later making him the last player to qualify as an American non-import. Existing players, including Funston, had their status grandfathered.
