My mom just got an obvious scam call from someone claiming to be 'Wells Fargo' wanting to verify banking information for a zelle transfer and like 1. She does not have a Wells Fargo account. 2. She never uses zelle. 3. It is 7pm on a Saturday night. Ain't nobody working at Wells Fargo right now. Now she knew instantly this was a scam but it just makes me sad at the low effort the scammers are putting in at this point. Like this was obvious if you're going to be a villain, up your game, boys!
