After a grueling defeat and a year in line for the afterlife, Cell would find himself flung into a Home for Infinite Losers, where other villains who lost fights to the death undergo rehabilitation therapy and trust exercises. Being greeted by the two appointed counselors Ruby and Pit, Cell learns the hard way that his powers have been dulled by a device on his ankle, and one Crescent Rose to the head later, he wakes up in a cul-de-sac, seeing a barbecue where Megatron and Starscream are arguing about drinks, Carnage and Sigma are playing pong with Sailor Galaxia spectating, and Dr. Wily's Robot Masters have prepared a show to welcome the newest member of their group. However, one look at the Gutsman Twerkarana is enough to horrify Cell into trying to escape, only to run into, of all people, Dr. Eggman, who informs him that he's his new housemate. This already agrivates Cell, but it's made worse by the reveal of his other housemate. "WHAT'S UP, OTHER NEW WALUIGI!? WAHAHAHAHA!" "Kill me." "It's far too late for that, Cell."
