Een wit-bruine hond (Sacha) die op gras zit naast een smalle sloot. De hond draagt een halsband met een riem en kijkt naar rechts, met hangende oren en een rustige, alerte houding. De omgeving is een open, groen weiland met een sloot die schuin door het beeld loopt. Links onderin is een stukje pad zichtbaar. In de achtergrond staan boerderijen of schuren en kale bomen. Bovenaan is een blauwe lucht met grote witte wolken, met zonlicht dat duidelijke schaduwen op het gras maakt.
