I wonder if the authors of the 'business cases' leading to redundancies care about the 'disappearance' of 'networks of collaborators' and the undermining of 'entire research fields'.

Re #MultipleEmergencies
“Right Livelihood in the Multiple Emergencies Era” in profile

1000s of local Community Visioning Initiatives, in communities around the world, can activate most possible participation (by way of 6-12 months of workshops, meetings, brainstorming, and prioritizing challenges and solutions) + help build a high level of consensus for specific action plans in shortest amount of time, w/ support from
universities, colleges, and 1000s of positive tipping point related orgs and institutions (https://www.cpcsi.org/231-positive-tipping-point-orgs-and-insti ) creating related curriculum--and offering resources, classes, workshops, teacher training to max identification of challenges, solutions during Community Visioning process

Thru workshops and local learning networks, citizens can gain greater awareness of how all the investments of time, energy, money (the “votes”) each of us make in our everyday circumstances become the larger economy. People from every variety of circumstances can learn how to wisely cast such “votes”. Wisely directed, such “votes” can result in countless ways of earning a living which contribute to peacebuilding, community revitalization, and ecological sustainability efforts necessary to drastically reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, and minimize other related challenges.

Once it becomes clear local residents are “getting together” on Net Zero #GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emission #supplychains and #SRI (Socially Responsible Investing) enabling-peace supply chains; + many local communities = “driving” economies from global to just, sustainable communities, ecosystems; changes many come more quickly in upper echelons of govts, intl corporations, intl banks, etc., which have been--thus far--slow to respond to Climate Emergency (and many other challenges).
