今は大人の事情でEMSの表記が無いみたいですが。
正しい使い方をした事は無く、もっぱらライブのマスタークロック的モジュールのモジュレーション的に突っ込んで、最後は無限暴走化させる最終兵器でした。

今回の9つで唯一、今も一軍先発隊。フィルターとしての完成度も高いですが、これ1つのクロスモジュレーションで強烈なノイズを生み出してライブ終了する、というスタイルはよくやっていました。

Doepfer A-140 ADSR Envelope Generator
エンベローブってオシレーターだし変態なんだと知った時の衝撃。特にコイツはピッチエンペローブした時がエグかった。それだけで地響きが出せた、変態すぎた。

おばあちゃんが言ってた「マルチプルを制する者はモジュラーシンセを制す」。
マルチプルを使う思考って、それまでの1パッケージ化されたシンセを使う時には無かった発想だった。

Doepfer A-127 VC Triple Resonance Filter
各VCF CVにシーケンサーからのCVを繋いだ状態で自己発振セッティングすると、所謂〝ping〟サウンドが3音出力で、それだけで白飯3杯はいける気持ちよさがありました。

たかがVCA、されどVCA。
その1音の表情や使い方をシームレスに変えていける発見は、ライブをやり始めた当時、限られたモジュールの数と種類で成立させていく重要な手段でした。無音を生み出す大切さ。

2001年、初めて購入したモジュール記念。
底なし沼の始まり(違)
音的にはA-110の方が好きだったかな。
表記には〝A-111-1〟とあるけど、元々のオリジナルは〝A-111〟だけでした。

モジュラーだけでモジュラー以外の音を使えないかと、生放送中のラジオ音声を突っ込んでライブしていたら、ドリカムが流れての恥ずかしい思い出。

真面目に考えてみたけど、記憶が曖昧で色々と忘れているし大半がdiscontinuedなんですが、ユーロラックを買い始めた2001年からの2,3年ぐらい、ライブをするようになった2008年から2,3年ぐらいの影響が大きいのかな、と思う次第。
