Domino knows Valtor interacted with people on some of the now-destroyed planets. They heard him yelling to let the innocent people in the magical prisons out. They've seen him at his most emotional. How can they not see him as a person, when he feels so much emotion inside?

No, this hatred of theirs is different. It isn't the same Valtor felt from Domino before the first prison planet. Over those billion years, they also refined their opinion of him. They see him as a creature, a monster like that one fairy said, capable of nothing but destruction.

Or maybe Valtor never gave the fairies a chance to express their hatred. These fights are different. He's becoming used to them. He had never talked to the fairies before he was imprisoned on the first prison planet. If they talk to him, they must also feel strongly about him.

Valtor feels that it's been this way for a long time. Domino's hatred of him feels familiar, like it had always existed. He just didn't notice it until now.

Valtor enters the inn, goes to his room, and decides to try to sleep even though he didn't use much of his energy. He takes his shoes off, lies down in his bed, and then determines he isn't tired enough. He'll use this time to think more about his situation instead.

Feeling more confident in his identity, Valtor enters the town to find that it's nighttime. He'll return to the inn, and tomorrow his clothing order will be ready. It feels right to add another piece to his outfit. He discovered another piece of himself today, too.

Valtor will face thousands more Domino fairies and make them feel what he feels - the anger, frustration, misery. Maybe through that, they'll finally realize that he's feeling those emotions. They'll finally consider that he isn't doing this by choice.

So, Valtor will rely on that anger, then, and use it to his advantage. He'll make sure the people in this town never see that side of him. He'll have plenty of chances to release it when he destroys planets, anyway.

The answer was never to learn now to use his essence at its full strength. Instead, Valtor should focus on using his emotions to his advantage. There will be no end to planetary destruction. The source of this anger will never go away.

Now emotionally exhausted, Valtor walks into the essence room and takes the essence. He transfers it to a crystal, sends it to his creators' dimension, and transports back outside the town on the remaining darkness planet. He has a lot to process before he can reenter the town.

So, Valtor lets all his intensity out. He hits the Domino fairies as hard as he possibly can with his essence, letting his anger show them his full strength. Although his essence isnt their opposite, they scream. They all hit the doors behind him and fall to the floor.

In that moment, Valtor concludes that this is the best place to let that emotion out. Domino has no idea what he's been through, how much destroying planets hurts him. They don't know that he isn't doing this by choice, and they'll never bother to find out.

But it would also end this fight quickly. Valtor does have more control over his emotion this time. He could hold it in if he wanted to and try to work through it another way. Where else could he release it, though? He certainly doesn't want anyone in the town to see that.

Valtor realizes it isn't likely Domino knows they've caused him physical pain. He's never had a reason to have such a strong reaction to it. He can feel his anger increasing again at these repeated misunderstandings. Letting it out would only prove that fairy's point.

This was another new and unexpected extremely negative reaction, so Valtor doesn't immediately know how to respond. These Domino fairies would hurt him this much if they could, right? Isn't that what they're trying to do? It's not like it didnt hurt when they weakened him before.

Valtor immediately blasts the fairies with one of the light spells. It illuminates the space, making it very hard to see. The darkness fairies scream in pain. The Domino fairies call out to them. One of them says they'll finish this fight for them. Another calls Valtor a monster.

Valtor can tell these fairies were prepares to face the unknown, but he knows that preparation won't be enough. He doesn't really know how he knows that. It must have come from one of his past experiences in a society.

Valtor settles for appearing in front of the essence room. He was prepared for a fight, anyway. He arrives in front of eight fairies blocking the door. Domino is trying a different strategy. This doesn't change anything.

Valtor tries to transport directly into the essence room of the youngest darkness planet, but he finds that he can't. Domino must have experimented on that one, too. It's almost the same as the prison planets, except he can't get in instead of not being able to leave.

Valtor absorbs the essence in the other object, also recalling what it does. They happen to be good choices for the fight over the youngest darkness planet. He knows exactly how he'll use them.

Valtor doesn't have much time, so he hopes absorbing the essence in the objects will be enough to remind him how they work. He absorbs the one that he didn't remember first. His theory was right; he remembers what it does now.

One object seems familiar to Valtor. He may have practiced using it for some time while the witch city was still standing. With the objects, he leaves the light planet and returns to the oldest darkness planet.

While the rest of the guards are recovering, Valtor quickly takes two light objects, one of them the one he was studying. He can't sense exactly what they do, but he can tell they're the most powerful out of all the ones in the room.

Valtor needs the objects, and he was trying to avoid a fight, so he decides to take advantage of this moment and use his energy to knock all the guards down. They aren't as strong as fairies, so this also knocks a few of them unconscious.

The lead guard tells the others to fire. Valtor can see and sense the energy coming quickly towards him from all directions. It isn't as strong as the essence that Domino fairies usually attack with, so he decides to absorb all the energy. The guards stare at him in shock.
