Happy Birthday Kat!!

I am so disappointed in a large chunk of this country. But I haven't watched all these movies and read all these books about rebellions for nothing. Rebellions are built on hope. I will continue to have hope, I will continue to resist, and I will try to make this country better for the future.

So I am going to spend the next four years resisting. We didn't storm the Capitol when Kamala lost. But the last 24 hours show that this election wasn't fair. Trump essentially said the election was rigged. We've got Proud Boys marching in DC and Elon throwing up Nazi symbols.

The first time Trump was elected, I wasn't happy but trusted the nation's choice and the system of checks and balances. When Biden won, I watched as an angry mob descended on the Capitol, then heard for the next four years "Biden isn't my president."
