Pi and Cory are walking down the road from the burger joint a few hours later. His stomach is much smaller than it has been, but is still full of the 6 fast food workers he ate a little while ago. Around both their arms are several bags of food that the workers had prepared to-go before Pi ate them. Cory is agitated at Pi's appetite and having to help lift his friend's large stomach. Now a little while later, Bram is discussing Thelamus digesting his food while his own stomach squeezes and crushes his current meals.
