I’m thinking about @pattonoswalt.bsky.social’s bit about asking Darth Vader to talk about puppies today. I really think he hoped that joke would fade to irrelevance 20 years later, but it’s spinning around in my brain today for no particular reason at all (there’s a particular reason).
Not the point, but is he playing that tambourine with his dick, his balls, or both?
[Waves hands wildly at everything while opening my mouth but only a silent scream comes out]
There was a tv series like 15 years ago called Iconoclasts or something like that, and it would pair famous artists to hang out for a day. One episode was Fiona Apple and Quentin Tarentino, and you could tell she was really suffering through that day.
I’ve often thought about how all of these added, unnecessary interactions have accelerated the shift of managerial work as training and support work to policing and surveilling workers. I don’t really know how to say it though. It’s another point of labor capture, and it’s insidious.
One way to shop!
Now more than ever I’m convinced losing Anthony Bourdain meant we lost probably the biggest person on tv who advocated for the wonders of meeting new people and calling anyone online who hated learning new cultures the children they were, ruthlessly to the camera.
I feel like Return to Oz might belong with the horror. That movie is terrifying.
In thinking about it for one additional second, what in the fresh Hell is this Special Envoy to the Shield of the America’s from the post? Is this going to be another unaccountable, funded without congressional approval tool of violence?
It might be a small thing, but how is it that our society is still structured so that US Senators are posting Twitter images of Pop Crave news headlines of cabinet level firings?
Microsoft, tell me you don’t understand why humans make things without telling me you don’t understand why humans make things.
this is not an amount of money any individual or household should be able to have and we have to abolish both billionaires as a group and the economic system that makes them possible

You might get a laugh from Ron Funches set about that exact experience! youtu.be/rCvs56MIMV4?...
I wish I had something intelligible or moving to say right now, but all I can muster is a scream that seems to emanate up through the crust of the earth.
I have been struck with inspiration for an MtG cube. youtube.com/shorts/56EsD...
More of this energy, please.
This is just what the turkeys have been preparing for…
Turd steps inside the anus where the butts poop, shit, and even fart.
Why did all of the various platforms change their default so that when a video preview starts playing audio is on? Stop making stupid changes like this.
I am sad to say that I think Crimson Desert promotional hype has gotten to me.
correct! every post about fixing a broken games industry that involves [specific games industry tweaks] and not [destroying a speculation-mad executive class and using their bones for compost] is just wasting everyone's time
This man had Nazism inked on his body. The New Republic ignored and erased the work of credible Jewish publications and Graham Platner's own words to pretend this was "innocent." It is not.

I think a point system would definitely be a concept worth the commander panel’s consideration at some point in the future. I don’t know if it’s an answer. It may be deemed too complex for tracking. I don’t know, but it’s an idea worth expanding on.
I just finished watching this, and you had a somewhat throwaway line at the end that’s really sticking with me: a point system for game changers. I think there’s a germ of something worth expanding there. My groups often throw out “What’s the difference between 3 and 5 game changers.”
On your end step.
