I am always glad to see Black women being centered in our own stories about the workforce and the workplace.
One thing I want to note is that across multiple sectors, the net employment loss Black women have experienced is closer to 216,000 from 2024-2025 according to @epi.org.

I appreciate Octavia E. Butler rejecting the label of prophet. And how it wasn’t just humility but a reminder that prophecy suggests some truth forecast by a higher being that can lend itself to doomerism. As she said, she wanted things to be different and believed we can and should change things.
The radio show I contribute to is a leftist radio program. We have a recurring segment called “The F Word.” The F word is fascism. We’ve been doing this segment, grounded in how leftists were recognizing American fascism for generations, for a decade. It’s only new to liberals, hate to say.
The left was using fascism to describe the US decades before libs got on the bandwagon. See Langston Hughes & the Black Panthers. This identification comes historically documented from far left of the libs & it’s funny libs now take credit for what they spent years ostracizing the left for.

tl;dr A lawyer lied about her behavior to a federal prosecutor, potentially prejudicing the judge.
My hottest mental health take:
A lot of depression and anxiety is situational, and warranted, because people live in shit circumstances. They’re poor, without resources, etc. and the reason it’s become popular to blame “mental health” is because it’s a way of evading responsibility.
It's kinda buck wild that I have received and/or witnessed the same degree of mouth frothing transphobia here from Liberals as I did from the Neo Nazi incels in the last years I was on Twitter, but the thing that makes it *WORSE* is the self righteous insistence that they're not actually transphobic
The things y'all credit them with being right about, leftists were right about first. But now y'all crave the empire that worked silently oppressing instead of announcing it on social media and affecting your personal budget.
