It’s a massive headache and totally impossible to follow meaningful commentary

I realized how deeply Twitter has changed today as I keep opening the app to follow the freaking coup happening in Russia and was met instead with a garbled feed full of irrelevant posts by right-wing pundits. Twitter was THE place for breaking news and major events, but it’s clear that era is over.

But all you need is 12 likes and then everyone will see

These are the golden days

I firmly believe they’re going to need to keep this platform very small until they can massively scale content moderation and hire a leadership team to manage this. It’s naive and impossible to believe that by being decentralized they’ll avoid the responsibility. No platform can function without it.

Definitely makes me a bit nervous that the increased scarcity is just creating a bit of a toxic situation

We need more of Irish Twitter on Bluesky because I haven’t seen anything on here about that woman who fully believes the English ate her ancestors

This is immediately wrong it now has 2 likes but 0 death threats so we’re good

My last Star Wars post got one like…from Rian Johnson. Idk if that is a sign we need to get more of Star Wars Twitter over here or if this means Bluesky is the purest form of Star Wars fandom and we must protect it at all costs before it inevitably returns to its usual levels of simmering fury…
