Hell yeah, Sherwood
@schiff.senate.gov keeps talking like he gets it and voting like he doesn't. Please stop voting to confirm people because it's the done thing. Nothing here is normal. Stop pretending it is.
I can only imagine how often we'd all be getting sick if we weren't still masking. It was like every 1-2 months in the before times.
I think Alpha gave me his cold. Ugh.
I grabbed a new concealer last week that's great formula wise, but too light and cool toned for me. I'm mixing with another until I run out of both and replace it with the right shade. Even with help in store, I feel like matching my skin is hard. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
I also only recently realized I had a neutral, not cool, undertone, so I think I've been going about makeup colors all wrong for years and have no idea what anything is actually supposed to look like on me.
Oh! I honestly never ever considered that as a factor and I feel silly for missing that
Why is it that when I swatch a lip color it looks once way but on my lips it's another? I've given up trying to find a nice natural lip color because I can't. But this taupe I just got is brickier than I thought it looked on my wrist. It's fine but, makeup is too damn complicated.
I've never had that but it sounds kind of awful
Chat, is it good when your ribs pop? Asking for no reason.
I feel like this all the time too, but I think it's our brains lying to us. You seem pretty cool, NGL!
Map snapshot depicting the predicted relative anomalousness of surface temperatures from the ECMWF ensemble over the Western U.S. in about a week from now. A a huge region of bright orange and red colors (depicting extremely high warm temperature anomalies) is centered right in the middle of the map, and covers essentially the entire region.
Lots of buzz online about an upcoming major March heatwave for the American SW & California. And in this case, it does indeed appear increasingly likely than an extremely anomalous and even record-breaking heatwave may envelop much of the SW about a week from now.
That heatwave that's coming is going to put us into the mid 80s next week and that's just too hot too soon.
I remember they sort of tried to be like, oh, you have a sister or cousin, IDK. This kid lives here and everyone is totally ok with it because magic. And that was that.
Also you have a brother, but he doesn't matter. Ok. Good talk. Go beat some bad guys in bikinis.
Ok wait. I took a nap and now I'm catching up and scrolling through a ceasefire that wasn't actually, the market believing it was anyway, and various threats about the strait of Hormuz, and wth guys? Like seriously, WTF is going on?
I'm very glad we have a hybrid van atm NGL. We can MOSTLY run on electric as long as it's in town stuff.
trying to ink through a migraine and I cannot tell if my lines make sense. Do not recommened.
I would take average at this point. These guys are way more destructive than your average politician. Way more craven too.
I hate that my country is run by a bunch of psychopathic people with peanuts for brains and no desire to realize or care how what they do impacts EVERYONE economically (and in other ways as well, in many cases)
Got gas last week because we saw the spike coming. It was still under $5 at Costco at that point.
Gas is already over $5 a gal here. I suspect it'll hit $6 soon.
Looks like our high was $6.43 a gallon in June of 22, according to AAA. Diesel hit $7/gal back then.
I do not care what the coffee hit thinks. How did he get an op/ed? IDK order a fancy drink. Life is short. Enjoy yourself a bit.
I remember not liking it immediately when i was younger because it was the E and I loved the Enterprise D, but the ship design is honestly solid and it very much grew on me.
Oooh yes! Another good one.
They are good little ships. I still love me a good constitution class ship as well. It's a bit more appealing than the excelsior class, which I also like.
Joining me for lunch are house finches, cedar waxwings, a very chatty white breasted nuthatch, chestnut backed chickadees, and one squirrel that thinks I put out the bird feeder for them.
It's nice enough out to have lunch outside.
I guess I need to make some zines! And figure out how to display them. And stickers, and...oh no
basically!
Yeah. Suddenly there are MORE THINGS and I question why I did this
