In the US, itβd have to be French toast. The other two are considered dessert where I was raised.
This. I switched to Apple Music a few years ago and never looked back. Thereβs a free tool to transfer all your playlists etc to Apple Music. Pricing/quality/library are all similar. It is SO EASY to stop using Spotify. Iβm always surprised when people I like still use it. (Tidal is great too.)
I am pleased to report that I can now, after a few dozen times, listen to the song βLos Angelesβ by Big Thief without choking up.

Seconded. Simply excellent story, got me sort of emotional for its unexpected hopefulness. You should read it.
Still so annoyed Dorfromantik recently released versions for every single console on Earth but didnβt bother with a Mac version.
Half a World Away.
This seems important:
I cannot even begin to tell you how good this novel is.

Last and First Men by Olaf Stapledon.
Gosh, if only some world builders were, in fact, paying limited or more expansive attention to agriculture, material culture, ordinary life & how magic and the larger social structure helps or harms the ordinary people of the world, or how difficult & deadly much of the past was for so many.
Congrats! Canβt wait to read it.

The cover of Kae Tempestβs album Self Titled, showing a black and white image of the back of someoneβs (probably Kae) head, with short buzz cut hair. Also you should listen to this album.
Listening to Self Titled by Kae Tempest for the first time and honestly just blown away. Itβs urgent and driven and it packs a punch that hits even harder because of the moment weβre in.
