A bunch of computer surgery today and I've got a PoC boot of an old Mac Mini with Ubuntu to expand my homelab.
The drive with Ubuntu doesn't actually fit in the Mac Mini, it's just a temp replacement to prove it'd work before I flash the "real" drive

It takes image update notificiations from diun and turns them into Discord messages that I can action to either update the image of the container (and compose file) or dismiss if I don't want that update.

As a homelab-er, something neat I'm finding with github copilot is that I can code up simple little apps to fill problems or gaps I have in the way I want to manage things.
These are purpose built for *my* way of working so they don't have to be perfect but just work for me.

I haven't setup offsite backups yet, but I might use a similar strategy to I do with paperless-ngx, push to OneDrive for backup.
Otherwise Azure Files is a consideration for backup/cold storage
