I’ve been working on some autobio comics that aren’t for sharing. It’s been an interesting experiment.
And of course I’ll be the art editor and or editor. I’ll pay generous rates. You have to subscribe and it will come in the form of a weekly zine.
I think the time is ripe for a modern day Mad magazine. It’s hard to tell what true, what’s a parody.

I enjoyed this game but found it hard and confusing. I then realised that my controller was broken and I couldn’t press the button for current mission objectives 😂 will have to go back to it one day.
Grinding in some comic roughs for a job and I don’t think I’ve ever worked so fast with that pressure.
Our local superstore is like a zoo at the best of times with the full assortment of terrible shoppers blocking isles, weird looks, walking slow etc. Not many people know about this new store yet and it’s easy to walk around.
Went to the new local No Frills today. It’s counts as an exciting outing as it’s not that busy and has lots of deals. So thrilling 😂

I was the one who told my team that I wanted to book Tiny Desk. I remember seeing T-Pain perform there, and being really hyped about it and I thought it could be really cool if the band hopped on there. There wasn't a lot of people that knew that we were an actual band and that I could play drums and perform. But I didn't know we had to perform that early. The day we performed, we were on tour at the time, one of our first headlining tours, and it was grueling. They woke us up at 8 a.m. or something. And they were like, "we're here to take you to Tiny Desk" and I was "oh shit, who the hell booked this?????", and it was me, I booked it. So we were hungover (that's why we were all wearing sunglasses) and I almost didn't do it, they had to drag us in there. I was really dreading it. I didn't think it was going to sound good. I thought it sounded like shit because we've been playing festivals and I've been screaming and staying up late and I was stressed because we had never played so quietly before, and there was only one mic in the room. I just thought to myself "ok, so this is going to be devastating when it comes out", but then during it I started having fun. We didn't even know what the set list would be until we got there. I opened up requests to the crowd and didn't know they'd request Suede, so we were just going off the cuff. I don't think we had ever even played that together as a band, so everything you see is all very natural, the banter, everything. And when it came out, it came out. You can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on big music videos with all this production, but then the most viral thing we've ever done was just us playing in a regular office.

Posted a comic on Reddit that did ok. Mostly positive comments etc. just had one person comment ‘slop’ I guess accusing it of being made by a robot.

Someone lost their Apple Pencil at work recently. I tired to connect it to the work iPad in the hopes it would alert the owner. But apparently the USB c model doesn’t work like that.
Today’s work computer start up time close to 30 minutes!
I keep asking for an updated laptop with more RAM but nothing yet.
I love crosshatching and the tonal range it can create in my work. However I also realise that it does give a certain grit and grime to a drawing which is not necessarily something I’m going for.
It sounds like it got poor promotion and distribution. It was a fun watch!

This comic was based on thinking this regularly and honestly not knowing if I did the thing or not. I’m always surprised either way.
A four panel comic that is set up like a game show. The 1st and 3rd panels show the game show host and the 2nd and 4th panels show the contestant. The text reads. ADHD Game Show. “And for the $300 category, what will you choose ...” “umm... how about” "Did I do that one important thing weeks ago like I should have". “let's see... Did your past self do you a solid?” The answer on the board is... Buup BoOW “NO!”
It turns out in fact they had not done the thing.
