Saw Lilo and Stitch on Friday. Probably my favourite of the remakes but still maybe a 7/10 at best because I saw it with my kids. All the direct remakes are just unnecessary IMO.
As an animated film lover I could easily pick one pretty much every year over an existing BP nominee, but a few more recent ones:
2024 - Wild Robot (BP nom over Emilia Perez/Complete Unknown)
2018 - Into The Spiderverse (would give it BP win)
2015 - Inside Out (BP nom over The Revenant)

Casablanca
Grand Illusion
Theater re-release in January so probably won’t be streaming until after that.
Cuaron and it’s not close IMO. I would rank pretty much all his movies above the other two’s full filmographies aside from maybe Birdman and Pan’s Labyrinth.
