I can't remember the last time I looked at a Splunk dashboard and thought "yes, this contains the information I need in a relevant format".

Trump’s war will easily cost more than it would have cost to extend the ACA tax credits.

Republicans are telling the American peopleβ€”there is always money for war, always money for billionaire tax breaks.

Just never any money for health care or families here at home.

I'm thinking about getting a split and moving back. Ok!

Oh man are there splits that aren't mechanical?

I am tempted. I need a third keyboard and my preferred vendor went out of business (rip WASD)

How do we feel about split mechanical keyboards?

Removing vote by mail from WA would be a tremendous disenfranchisement of our rural population.

Have had at least one instance where I was thinking "I've made this specific mistake before, so let's see if it did too....", and sure enough. The same mistake I'd made a long time before was right there.

I've also been ... impressed? ... that the mistakes it makes are also very human?

Me and my paranoid private home camera system are feeling pretty vindicated right now.

http2 and 3 do actually just say "this problem cannot exist", so that's nice.

i think 400 explicitly.

now the last frustrating part: which options get the 400? i think the safe thing is that anything other than the explicit hop-by-hop headers are rejected. because otherwise it's consultation with the IANA HTTP Field Name Registry for each option.

What about the paragraph towards the end of that section?

"A sender MUST NOT send a connection option corresponding to a field that is intended for all recipients of the content. For example, Cache-Control is never appropriate as a connection option."

29.01.2026 22:01 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

If you are an HTTP proxy server, and a client sends you `Connection: content-length`, what should you do? Cite your reasoning.

Cache invalidation and naming things. I'm actually pretty good at the first thing. Too bad I struggle with the second thing; my wife and I need to figure it out.
