Yes! I usually have two on the go - one is juicy, the other is more dry - I love the options in texture lines.

Can't wait for ZOMBIE PRINCESS from @beziergames.bsky.social. Sequel to REBEL PRINCESS, where the princesses fought off unwarranted marriage proposals from pesky princes. Twenty-eight days later, the princes returned...as zombies! π #BoardGames

Nice! Also, that's one of my favourite sketching pens.
My daughterβs game is on Kickstarter! She put her heart and soul into this, and so much blood. Too much really.
Please pledge so we can undo the ritual.
Last day of our mini-vacay in the country! Love that instead of a guest book, our airbnb has a guest TREE of these small hanging tags. Here is the one I just added.
It's so good! I've never seen it elsewhere but theorize it was at the Zehr's in this area because of the lavender farms in this area of Ontario.
Overhead view of a mug of tea and a book lying on a wooden table. Title of book: The Magic Words: Writing Great Books For Children and Young Adults, by Cheryl B. Klein.
Wide angle view of a smiling person at an oval table, in a small room with lots of windows. On the table are a laptop computer, books, notebooks, and a portable light.
Instead of going to U.S. for a mini-vacay, we're at an airbnb in Ontario. Every morning: Re-reading @cherylklein.bsky.social's THE MAGIC WORDS: Writing Great Books For Children & Young Adults. Cheryl: If you had a companion wkbook of exercises, I'd buy it in a heartbeat! #KidLit #WriterSky
Grocery store photo of red Crispers package. Text indicates Ketchup flavor.
Grocery store photo of pale purple Silk Oat creamer container. Text indicates Vanilla Lavender flavor, Limited edition, lactose and dairy-free.
I love finding unusual flavours of brands. Like ketchup-flavoured Crispers (I think ketchup-flavoured chips are a Canadian thing, not common in U.S.?) and Vanilla Lavender Silk oat creamer. #FoodSky
Misty highway with one car ahead.
Super-heavy mist on the roads yesterday! Got to the airbnb ok, *whew*.
I love the emotional potatoes created by @librarygrl2.bsky.social's students after they watched the I'M BORED reading by @michaelianblack.bsky.social & activity by me! youtu.be/Dd3jyzCkvDc...

Hand-curated by yours truly, usually updated daily BUT my Internet access likely to be spotty next few days. On tap: a lot of reading, writing, walking in the woods, eating yummy food, and board games. π©·
Have a good weekend, all.
Nice, Gary! Are there a lot of practices? Good luck with the upcoming piece!
How very cool. Ham radio has always fascinated me but I never took the time to learn more about it. Years ago, I started to learn morse code (I doubt anyone uses that anymore, tho) and also some of the code words etc.
Nice! Do you own your own or use someone else's? What are you 3d-printing?
I like it so much that I've been having the leftovers for breakfast!
I adored this book.

I made lentil soup for 1st time, used @nytimes.com recipe: cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1016... Soaked lentils first. SO YUMMY.
I am in awe of #KidLit writers who continue to do regular writing every day despite limited writing time because of a full-time day job.

Excited that Gabrielle Zevin's Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is going to be made into a movie. Loved this book so much. Fingers crossed they do a good adaptation.

My pal @maureenmcgowan.bsky.social says that while we can't control when lightning hits, we can work on improving our lightning rods. My pal @kevinarts.bsky.social adds that we also need to be READY for when lightning hits.
Actually, I just realized that your first name isn't Canette. Thank you, Canette Books! π©·
Thanks for the kind words, Canette. Much appreciated.
Thanks, Daniel!
Christy is amazing! She inspires me in so many ways.
Omigosh!!!! Look what @christinafarley.bsky.social created to help celebrate the launch of I'M BUSY by @michaelianblack.bsky.social and me from @simonkids.bsky.social. Christy is one of the busiest authors I know, so am especially grateful. Thank you, Christy! β€οΈπππ𧑠#KidLit #YALit
Brilliant, Anne Marie.
Thank you, Bev! And thank you SOOOOO much for your critique of one of my MG mss. Your comments were so thoughtful and helpful, made me rethink my overall approach.
