Saddened to hear about the passing of the talented Catherine O’Hara. A wonderful actress, I shall remember her most fondly as Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek. Rest in peace.

Rewatching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D again (5th time?) and I can draw some conclusions:
A) this show was a banger
B) it is due a reboot/continuation on Disney+
C) season 4 with Ghost Rider and the Framework was peak

Cracking trip to Waterstones today. Picked up a book on folklore, a new board game and got these cheeky 40K pin badges for free!

My entire writing routine is 500 words a day. It’s surprising productive and doable. Keep the goals modest and maintain momentum. I’m 60k words into my current WIP and have written 20+ published novels using this technique. It can be done.

Only played a handful of new games over the festive period but I really enjoyed both Tea Witches and Emberleaf. Very different games, both with nice mechanics, aesthetics and table presence. Recommended. #boardgames

Predator Badlands was a blast. Loved the world building, great action and dark humour. Ella Fanning is incredible. Different vibe to other films in the franchise but that’s a compliment in this case. #movies

Loved ep1 of Dispatch. Reminds me of Invincible sort of mixed with a really high end version of Dragon’s Lair (that’s re: the quicktime events). Animation and story both top notch. #Dispatch #PS5 #gaming

Watched Tron: Ares. Enjoyed Tron: Ares. Great soundtrack (tho not as good as Daft Punk), the Grid looked awesome and Greta Lee was ace. I could watch her in anything, she’s tremendous. I seem to remember people hating on Tron: Legacy too (which is also overly maligned imo).
