Why do we let the AI lobby use euphemisms such as hallucinations to downplay issues with genAI? Errors or lies seems more accurate.
All the points in the article are helpful, but for me the main issue is not ‘how do we’re prevent students using AI in assignments?’, it is ‘How do we support students in using AI electively and appropriately to enhance their learning (including within assignments)’.
