There is little, if any, accountability for outcomes of those elected on the CRSC board and its committees for our tax dollars.
These meetings are sleepers. Except for the pool project for #Fredericton that was a governance fiasco. #nbpoli

As a downtown resident and taxpayer, I wonder who the CRSC has contacted in Ward 10. Iβm guessing not one single person. Not one. It seems like an echo chamber of people who know each other who meet.
Not clear value add or any difference in my neighborhood.
Regionalization is so broken. #nbpoli
Oh great. We have the CRSC involved in training #Fredericton small business be βinformed and how to deal with people who are unhoused in the communityβ
This isnβt a small business ownerβs responsibility. As a business owner, It is a one of the CSTF recommendations I donβt fully agree with.
Iβve harped about the regional service commission model for a while now because I donβt see any value for #Fredericton in this 4th level of government.
At best, itβs a pass through vessel of taxpayer money from the province while it takes a cut #nbpoli

NB Power remains committed to building reactors, but has come around to fleet-based thinking: it no longer wants to build a first-or one-of-a-kind because they are inevitably costlier expressing interest in different reactors, including BWRX-300, AP1000 and Candu. #nbpoli apple.news/A9GZurQoaTCu...

β[NB] selected two reactors for construction at its Point Lepreau station nearly a decade ago. But neither the ARC-100 nor the SSR-W appear to be nearing a completed design; their vendors have few employees & have struggled to raise capital. apple.news/A9GZurQoaTCu...

I took longer than needed to get back after my knee was fixed. Back and I am liking the improvements in data on heart rate at pace and heart rate recovery. Iβm data driven and find it a small reward. Not everyone is.
I took a closer look your charts, over βοΈ . My takeaway is spending tends to rise when world events, alliance commitments & procurement decisions force spend increases or cuts.
My main concerns are the lack of value/quality for money, no timely procurement and it seen as econ dev policy first.

And the final deliverables in the CRSC led pool design delayed to a special meeting of the board on Mar 25 at 12pm. No opportunity for questions from the stakeholders. Not value for money for this reason & donβt see value in the meeting β except to get last bit of funding for being a pass through.
