I think it helps having a guy like Pickles down there on the bench, giving advice etc between shifts. I’m not gonna say it’s all him but I see more calm play in their own zone on those three games versus some of the ones that he’s not played in.

Can’t really fault him on the first goal it was the third breakaway he faced, the second I’m sure he’d love back. He just had a great second period though. They gotta play better in front of him in the third.

Every so often all of CFB will be Notre Dame fans and this results in ND getting blown out. Yesterday they somehow bucked this trend.

Nothing I saw from the team postgame last night said the team was blaming the refs. As fans though we don’t have to be beholden to that same accountability and can call it what it was, a poorly officiating game. That said this team really needs to learn how to play while ahead.

Good finish tonight for Beavs MBB. First half was sloppy but pulled away at the end. Excited for the big challenge next week. Kings was big on a night they really needed him.
