2/2. Second one was Pinto. A super sweet woman rescued him from the street and did everything right. Got him neutered, vaccinated, parasite treatment. This morning he had the big belly that screams FIP to me. He too was helped to pass peacefully. I hope the distribution system works here.

Today started out super shitty. 1/2 I got to work and was told “we have two really sick cats.” Thomas was in respiratory failure and was trying to die. Luckily the owner was ok with euthanasia so we helped him pass peacefully.

Had one in Portland and it was okay. The cats chased it around and tried to catch the little spinny brushes. It committed suicide by damn near catching on fire when it was docked.

My grandmother was a teacher in Latvia. When they immigrated in the mid 1940s she went to nursing school and worked as a nurse, full-time until she retired. My mom worked full-time. I worked full-time. The “women didn’t work myth” is one that needs to go away. We have always worked.

It depends on the sweater. I don’t like things right up against my throat so I tend towards v-neck or scoop neck. I like my cardis comfy and a bit oversized, heavier sweaters slouchy and light sweaters more conformed to my body.
