Technical teams need to stop designing request forms for themselves and start designing forms for the people who will be filling them out. They know their terminology and processes, we don’t. Make it make sense to US. Please 🙏

Probably will just install the beta on my personal phone, it’s the only way I can reliably test every feature and I want to be able to launch as soon as possible when iOS 26 goes public or we get the GM and they open App Store submissions.
Argh. So my test iPhone has iOS 26 beta installed, but is too old to support Apple Intelligence, so I can’t test some features on it. My personal iPhone does support the AI stuff but doesn’t have the 26 beta installed, and I really don’t want to install it yet.
Every year Apple demos cool stuff and then I dig into the sample code and see more GeometryReader hacks. It's annoying and feels anti-SwiftUI. I like SwiftUI because I can focus on the experience, not the code. Like, Glass Effect is one line but you couldn't do that for stretchy headers? Come on.
TBH it depends on the source for me. But these day I’d say I lean toward video first. It’s surprising how many little things I pick up by watching someone do and teach something that would be omitted in blog posts. Also ChatGPT has quickly become invaluable to me as an alternative to blog posts.
Up and running with #macOS and #Xcode 26 betas. Built-in AI is a game changer! So much better than managing another external API and prompt testing in the ChatGPT console. Even more excited about my current projects, now.
TIL about read-optimized duplication and #dynamodb transactions 🤯 #aws
That reflection makes a cooler photo, though!
Who else has had a big fix itself this week? Anyone? I don’t love React.
Amazon’s NoSQL database on AWS. Probably not the right solution for everything but it’s great for my current projects. Still looking forward to WWDC and hoping for more CK updates, though!
I am absolutely loving this single table design stuff with #DynamoDB! Why did I persevere with #CloudKit for so long?
