Curious how one defines a religion as a "gag" one. They have rituals, core beliefs, churches, services, ministers like other religions. And are recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt church. From a secular viewpoint, all looks the same to me. We don't have to hash it out on socials though :)

One way in psychiatry we test if something has an innate / genetic basis is with “twin studies” - comparing monozygotic (MZ) and dizygotic (DZ) twins. If MZ are more likely to be concordant than DZ, it suggests an innate / genetic basis

1. Terrifying news for transgender people across the United States. In a late night development, the House Spending Bill was amended to ban transgender coverage for transgender ADULTS on medicaid!

Everything in medicine is risk vs benefit and no screening test is without harm. Over a population current data says we were harming more people than we were helping with annual paps in the US. For more info: www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf/recom...
And every 3 years age 21-29.
They haven't been annual for a while now unless the patient has had abnormal paps, then it's based on the pathology and ASCCP guidelines. With HPV based screening it's every 5 years aged 30-65. We only stop at age 65 if the patient has been up to date with screening and is not high risk. :)

In an absolutely devastating ruling, the Supreme Court has allowed the transgender military ban to go into effect.
This is shocking - the ban explicitly called transgender people dishonorable for being transgender. It is as clear as day soaked in animus.
