Since I deleted my Tiktok where I just talk about anything, I only have YouTube for video content but that's for proper long form stuff.
So I made a #SubStack to talk about indie comics, working in indie comics, art, and more:

Regarding the movie, Chainsaw Man is one of the few anime I've watched recently, and I've casually read the manga. I don't particularly "feel" anything when reading it, but I do like it enough. My favorite characters are Kishibe, Aki, Kobeni, Angel Devil, and Pochita.

I finally watched the Reze movie last night and wanted to try out my new (to me) OLO Markers
I'm old, but I always felt that pressure to pay for website hosting and whatever. I remember being in college and there was a bit of elitism to it, like "If you don't BUY your own domain name and hosting, you're not a real artist." So silly.

The blue ink used for the design was a mess, unfortunately. I almost gave up but my daughter encouraged me to keep trying. So the only way I could get it off was with Oxy-Clean, and it ended up wrinkling a lot. But it was still fun after not having completed a big piece in many months.
Embroidery of wildflowers
I finished my little #embroidery project last night.
This year I am going to work on all new content to add to my online portfolio. I was looking at it a few days ago and I'm just not happy with anything in it.
I like my #indiecomics and #art within it, but I really need stronger samples (and to generally improve my art).

I finished these little #embroidery pieces for pendants a few months ago. This was my first time incorporating beads. The top right is my favorite. I haven’t assembled the pendants yet. (these are from kits)

Went to gym and moved around a bit. I have mixed feelings about gym. I like home but going outside is probably good for me.
