I’m here now what’s up
Rough as always, I’m like the normal guy in some antagonist turned protagonist gang. Got the nearly 300lb big guy, the young guy that always goes hard, the ex military man that uses his training and experience, and Sonic the Hedgehog. I’m covered in bruises!
Just got done with BJJ and thought of you @trshpuppy.bsky.social - X is less fun without you.
I usually try to do as many languages as quickly as I can, so I barely make it through the first few days. Maybe I’ll keep that trend up and add ocaml
No auto detect or inline translate, probably to avoid paying for API usage.
I am not going to play that stupid game, 6 times across 6 platforms is enough.
I got into heated fights defending them that got Vercel employees cussing me out and built a web version of Mac OS 9 using them does that count? 🤷
There’s probably a feature request for it. I’ve been considering forking the app to add my own features (properly licensed for the bsky devs to take what they want)
kanpai! 🍻
No it doesn’t
Election. More pussies than the playboy mansion acting like Trump is going to murder people and deport everyone who isn’t blonde hair blue eyed.
@skircle.bsky.social listen here
I have opinions
Free of judgment?
On the INTERNET?!
😂😂😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😭😭😭🤣😂🤣😭🥲
You had me at Zig
Wouldn’t need to be SSL-style, it could just be SSL. BSKY could have a root cert and offer certs from that root cert that PDSes must use. In theory a PDS can run on the same domain as an app, but that’s fine - most servers support multiple SSL certs, so BSKY can force comms over one.
I’m still concerned that much of what makes Bluesky work is unique to the Bluesky app and servers, making PDSes feel more like nodes that live to talk directly to Bluesky. That leaves anyone looking to use ATProto responsible for the same aggregation.
I’m looking to make my own micro server that can exist as its own entity - no “login” or accounts, just has “posts”
I see everything 😶👄😶
Allegations have been going on for ages. They’d come up but being early internet they wouldn’t spread and they’d just disappear.
I remember a Geocities site making claims.
Is there a tag only permission? I’d be willing to do some light triaging from time to time.
The sheer simplicity of @bsky.app is a fantastic example of how most apps and platforms heavily over-engineer based on what if’s. This app is almost entirely baseline implementation. The tech doesn’t account for many what-ifs most people would assert are necessary for MVP.
Daylight Savings Time but we only keep the gaining an extra hour of sleep every year 🤤
They aren’t the sharpest but they deserve their reputation because they’re consistent, they last, they don’t rust, and they have the right amount of flex.
Can’t recall the brand I tried before them but they had severe QA issues - the blades that were good were really good. They rusted though.
Don’t go random - the distances between the distance between the blade, head and baseplate are very important as is the angle of the blade. The Gillette one is very good for the price - but I’d say it’s bare minimum in terms of quality and there’s many much lower quality ones.
It should be nearly impossible to cut yourself with a well made safety razor with proper blades. They’ve become popular so there’s lots of cheap, poorly made ones out there.
Doesn’t the fact that the main bsky instance / app caches images and video sort of negate this? Once the content is published it’s no longer being served from the PDS. Even if I log into my PDS I’m not seeing the content served from my PDS.
