We watched the first episode of Rooster. My early take is that I really like it so far. I have to dig into how it was filmed because itβs not the usual. Bill Lawrence is on fire.

Oh sure. Racism can be very picky. A lot of times itβs not even racism but just hatred towards poor people.
I grew up in Spain but visited the Netherlands every year and I always had the impression that there was a more heterogeneous mix of cultures there. Like diversity was more accepted. But Iβm talking about the 90s, I donβt know how is it nowadays.
I just want a @repebble.com version of a phone.
I have a buymeacoffee page for my glucose monitoring GNOME extension and every time I get a tip I feel like "awww you shouldn't" and I want to return it.
Making life easier for some people is a feeling that not many things can compete with.

Is it not an option to limit the allowance like with ATMs and stuff like that?
I never liked this, as Iβve seen a lot of nice products ruined after big rounds.
Buuut maybe atproto changes the paradigm a bit. Itβs easier to move out of places. That keeps them in check so they donβt go nuts because itβs more complicated to lock users.
Anyhow, congrats to @tangled.org :)
I meant about gen AI, I guess. Feels like a lot of people don't even try to write anymore, or take the time to learn to draw or music theory.
Code wise, is already good enough for most of the things, but you still need to *know* about it or you will in trouble eventually.
One of my beefs with AI is that seems that a lot of things are βeasyβ now. No more grinding, practicing and putting the hours to get good at it.
I massively respect the people that do the work. For me itβs were the value is at. The kung fu of crafts.
Iβm not going to respect you if you post on Bluesky with @mentions from Twitter. We deserve more.
Somebody should tell this guy he should stop jerking to his own picture and understand heβs fungible. futurism.com/artificial-i...

Maybe itβs because I live in Europe, but I just realised Iβve never seen the current FLOTUS speaking. A word. Am I the only one?
Itβs funny how what would make us live a nice, fulfilled life is that βaffordableβ, and then some people has enough money to do that a thousand lives and yet they need more and more and more.
Same here. But they hit the right spots and they all look way better than I anticipated. Iβm gonna miss Kelso and Ted, tho. They were my favourites.
Ah, Scrubs. Missed you.
Two days ago I was super close to choose violence and get a Unihertz Jelly.
No sΓ© si tiene mucho que ver, pero hace un tiempo que tengo pendiente leerme este libro que, segΓΊn tengo entendido, trata de cΓ³mo todo se estΓ‘ homogeneizando poco a poco por culpa de los algoritmos.
When I was a kid, my world was smaller but the real world felt bigger. You could feel a tiny delay in a phone call. Postcards would take weeks. I miss that.
Because people like you and me wants the photos for ourselves and maybe close ones, for the memories and the feels. People that use these AI image products usually have insecurities and just want them for other peopleβs approval.
Of course Iβm generalising but I think thatβs the gist of it.
I canβt put into words the dopamine highs I get from fixing random stuff around the place. I think I would be very happy as a maintenance guy.
Tech Company: At long last, we have created the Torment Nexus from classic sci-fi novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus.
FOSS nerds: the Torment Nexus cannot be ethical until it is Open Source
Iβm super happy with my A1 Mini but Iβm aware that at some point I will upgrade. I just donβt have the space yet.
Lately Iβve been thinking about limiting the input sources even more and maybe set up some digest. A couple of articles or news highlights, something small and contained, and go on with the day without checking five websites every few hours.
I want to have the inflow of a 14th century carpenter.
Thatβs a great analogy. We consume and consume (and not only intentionally) but at some point, it just canβt be digested. It wonβt stick. And to do it for the sake of ticking it off the list is just productivity onanism.
I bought one because I started getting in a rabbit hole I canβt remember but itβs been super useful for all sorts of things.
Today I read for the first time the term "software creator". Is it a new thing so it includes people that vibecode stuff without coding knowledge?
This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal
