The bane of her existence was that damn do-gooder knight that always foiled previous plans. Cutting through the silence, a small tink sounded. Iron across wood. He was here. Rising to her full height, the queen prepared to force his surrender with the princess as a hostage... not that she even needed with him now so small, but it was more fun this way for her. As she prepared her usual evil monologue that she loved, the queen froze. Truly at a loss of words. The knight didn't draw his tiny sword... he held a ring above his head. Was.. was that an engagement ring? Was he getting down on one knee? Why wasn't he looking at the princess??
