Our profound thanks are due to @glasgowheritage.bsky.social and Glasgow Riverside Innovation District whose funding enabled this project to take place. And in case you're wondering, that's @urbanprehistorian.bsky.social @gordonbarr.scot and Lex Lamb celebrating the occasion this morning...

It's the 37th anniversary of the Glasgow Garden Festivalβs Public Opening Day, and hence a fitting occasion to announce our new walking tour leaflet and interpretation boards. The two boards in Festival Park mark the first onsite recognition of the event.

This after-use study shows a marina, housing planned for where the BBC, Science Centre and business park are today, and a business park where housing was finally built! (Plus a nice 'Riverside Area' with hotel, restaurants, etc., roughly where the STV studios are now located.)
