Someone needs to explain to me how this didn't top the charts for like 14 straight weeks in 1986.

BECAUSE the Oscars are so wide open this year, I’m finding myself looking forward to the show more than I have in a long time. Wish this could be replicated every year. I’ll be rooting for Amy Madigan and enjoying the “anything could happen” vibes blanketing most of the rest of the categories.

We've still got central characters surviving BRUTAL knife attacks, though, which I am not a fan of. 7 is maybe a little meaner than 6. It's still not nearly as mean as these things used to be. (Dating even up to Dewey's death in 5.)

My Friday the 13th full-saga rewatch has revealed the fact that almost the entire series is a bunch of three-star horror movies that I enjoy watching. (Not you, Jason Goes to Hell.)

I don't think the plot of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die fully hangs together, but the movie both eviscerates the current tech-obsessed state of humanity AND maybe makes Haley Lu Richardson a star. On those counts alone: 👍
